The Haynes Motor Museum - Sparkford  It holds over 400 amazing cars and bikes from nostalgic classics of the 50's and 60's glorious Bentleys and Rolls Royce’s to exciting super cars like the Jaguar J220. Distance: 33 miles

Wells Cathedral

Probably the finest example of early English architecture (12-14th century). Interesting features include the West Front with over 300 carved figures of Saints & Kings, and the famous astronomical clock, one of the oldest working clocks (c.1390).  When it strikes the hour, the Knights ride into action.

Cheddar Village, Caves & Gorge

As well as being known for Cheddar cheese, it is home to the fanous Gorge and Caves.  The Gorge is Britains largest, and The Cheddar Yeo in Gough’s Cave is Britains largest underground river.  The Gorge cliffs are bBritains highest inland limestone cliffs.

Wookey Hole

Spectacular caves and the legendary and infamous Witch of Wookey.  A 19th century paper mill houses a variety of attractions including a cave museum, Victorian penny arcade, magical mirror maze, haunted corridor of crazy mirrors & a wizard’s castle play area.

Glastonbury Tor

The evocative Tor dominates the surrounding countryside and offers great views over Somerset, Dorcet & Wiltshire.  At the summit, an excavation has revealed the footings of two superimposed churches of St Michael, of which only the 15th century tower remains.
